I was going to make a phone call so I turned on the display then dragged the phone icon to the lock ring to open, the phone froze up. I let it sit for a minute hoping it would unlock but it didn't. I did a battery pull and put it back in. Phone will not turn on. I put it on the charger, it won't even show it is charging. The battery was at 75% so I don't think it is that. Any thoughts or ideas?

Try removing battery and then hold down power button for 15 seconds. Then replace battery.

My suggesstion would be to leave the battery out of the device for a period of time. Say 30 minutes..
This helped me with some samsung captivates / vibrants when i had some issues working on them.
Not sure if it will help the 3D but its worth a shot.

Thanks for the tip. I ended up going to the Sprint store and my phone is toast. 2-3 days for a replacement because apparently they were on back order.

This Morning I woke up and checked my phone and the screen worked but the baterry was almost dead so i put the phone to charge i checked on it 20 minutes later and only the buttons would turn on not the screen it also charged very little. it also heated up near where the camera is at. i tied pulling the battery out and no succes only the buttons light up. since the beterry was almost dead i let it die completly and now the phone wont charge or even turn on not even the red light at the top lights up. i want to know if this has anything to do with the screen not working or could it be something else. note the phone is not rooted nor have i droped it. thanks

No charge light even! That happened to me once. Leave it plugged into the wall as long as you can. At least overnight without touching it. 24 hrs if you can swing it.

After that time, pull the battery and return it and see if it will boot up.
