Not that anybody here doubted it:
HTC EVO(TM) 4G Breaks Sales Records for Sprint
Thanks for posting. I was just looking for these types of articles to pop up
And I was first in line and out the door at my Sprint store. I have never done that for anything before.
So cool to read about it.
Good for Sprint! They really deserve it.
Sucks tomorrow all the EVO news will be overshadowed by the new Iphone
Articles like what? It's a press release from Sprint.
Thanks for the post, i've been wondering about this!
Yeah, I have a feeling that the iPhone news is gonna be big. Also there are rumors that its coming to Sprint, which if true is gonna cause some serious waves.
Probably ... but with the leak from the misplaced phones, it's not quite the surprise it would've been.
I just set a buy order of S at $4.90 for tomorrow morning. Expecting good things to come for Sprint's financials.
Im doubting it is. I would say its staying on ATT for at least a few more months.
Is there any actual amount of phones sold or are we still waiting on that number?
Also: good for you sprint!
Won't see any numbers before COB tomorrow I suspect. But here's some early ballpark for ya, based on the press release:
>In addition, the total number of HTC EVO 4G devices sold on launch day was >three times the number of Samsung Instinct and Palm Pre devices sold over >their first three days on the market combined.
>>If my math is correct, that means sprint sold anywhere from 900,000 to >>1,500,000 in the first three days
It's going to be high six digits minimum.
