Evo 4G Not Recognized As A Drive

I have an HTC Evo 4G that I'm trying to connect to a Win7 machine. When I connect the cable, it starts charging but does not give me the screen that allows me to choose how I want it to connect (Charge only, HTC Sync, Disk drive or USB Tethering).

If I go to Settings -> Connect To PC, the default connection type is Disk Drive and the Ask Me box is checked. But I'm still not getting the option screen or seeing it in Windows Explorer.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but any help you can offer would be appreciated.
