After searching far and wide I can't seem to find a guide to help with my problem.. I just got a new Evo 4G after my old one got destroyed by cracking the screen, I have both in my possession and I'm trying to transfer everything from the old to the new before activating. AppBrain seems to be able to take care of my apps but how do I transfer the rest?

    Most Apps - AppBrain
Contacts - Make sure they're all on google?
    Pictures - Possibly picasa?
Login information - many many apps including mint.com, etc.

    Astrid Task information
SD Card - I currently have Astro Manager but I'm not certain how to check my SD card in case anything is left behind.
System Preferences - Not optimistic about this one.

    apps:
    mybackup
    astro
appbrain and many many others on the market

    contacts:
    sync to google
from within people hit menu and then export. this will export them to your sd card. no real reason to do this though. sync will upload them all to googles servers and the download them to the new phone. only works as long as you keep you same gmail addy

    pics:
    picasa
    photobucket
they are on your sd card

    Login info:
password wallet is one of many ..make sure and back up within the app

    Astrid:
check the app for a save settings to sd feature

sd card..either swap card into new phone, or drag and drop via a computer, mount phone as hard drive

    system preferences:
i don't recomend backing these up and restoring them because it can sometimes cause issues but myback up may help you on this one.

smoothly yes..but it will take some time. just be patient...and not a bad idea to jot some things down on paper too just in case but I think you will be fine

lol..I actually take snapshots of my phone screens so I know where to put everything :p
