I'm going to be honest, I'm new to custom ROMS and rooting all together, so I have a feeling I followed a bunch of tutorials that dug me a really deep hole that my evo will probably die in. T_T I had done the unrEVOked3 root method for my evo when I was on froyo so I could use wirelss tether, and just recently saw a friend on gingerbread so I decided it may be time for an update. After a lot of reading a pain I made it to 2.3.3 Gb but a friend said that it goes to 2.3.5 so I obviously wanted the highest I could get. I used this one - [Download] Rooted Official EVO 4G Gingerbread Update, Fresh Out Of The Oven the odexed version, then did the de-odexed version, I also installed the radio. But, tons of things started going wrong such as constantly booting over and over, even after wiping and going to factory settings. So I decided to recover from my nandroid I backed up from froyo thinking that it would solve all of my problems, and now my phone wont boot past the htc evo 4g screen, but I CAN still open my clockworkmod recovery which is version 2.5-ish. I would really appreciate any ideas, I seriously cannot afford to pay for another phone at this time. Thanks in advance, aslo, sorry for all the information, I figured the more known the better. dphish.
