Wow Sprint, that commercial is....good. Bravo. Maybe not the best for the phone, but a good intro... Anyone who doesn't know what the Evo is now has their ears up. Keep in mind people, this isn't the one and only commercial coming out.

personally i'd like to see sprint take more of an Iphone commercial approach. I get sick of seeing sprint commercials and having no idea what they are selling in it till the last 3-4 seconds of the commercial....

They should show the phone off during the whole commercial with that big ass screen on it...

lol exactly...or, at least showcase 4g first then show the first 4g phone. I understand the "firsts" concept, but that's because I know the phone better then 98% of the population and I already am aware of the benefit of 4g.

They need to take a more aggressive approach later in the advertising game... later as in soon.

yep this commercial sucks to me for two reasons: 1. Doesn't show off the phone. 2. most of us who are buying the phone won't have 4g and don't know when we are getting it

Maybe Sprint Will drop a Nuke and light up a bunch of 4g cities on the 4th

If you want it to show a concentrated version of this forum's content for the last two months, sorry you are going to be disappointed. If you can manage to view it with a bystander in mind, that shit is genius. Beautifully shot and just as flashy as the Droid ads without the punch in the face that would intimidate most people.

I am proud to be the first one to have talked about this device with my family and friends after seeing that promo. Artful, classy, and it shows just how far we have come with tech penetrating the market.

    It will draw interest. Period.

I just saw the commercial tonight June 2nd on WCBS [10:07pm].

I must say, it was very well done. Subtle and direct.

sorry, I do share your enthusiasm for the device, but those of that know this phone is revolutionary will understand the commercial, but those who are not aware of the phone's capabilities will have already changed the channel before the picture of the Evo or think to themselves "wow another phone commercial, yay"

I wasn't impressed with the commercial. Yes, it's cool to be the first 4G phone, but most people who get the phone won't even have 4G access. Sprint should have mentioned all of its other cool features as well.

The next EVO ad needs to highlight the hardware features.
