I'm frustrated with the EVO's web browser app and I figure I must be missing something - maybe somebody here can help me out.

I would like to be able to access my browser windows via a simple app button, the same way that I access Fring and my Email from my home screen.

But I cannot find a 'web browser' application anywhere. I always have to scroll left 3 times, click the google search box, go to a website, then finally hit menu->windows to see a web page that I was looking at previously. This method is insanely cumbersome - I should be able to see my browser windows with the click of one button, the same way that I open any other app.

Does anybody know of an easier way to access web browser windows?

    1. Download the Forums for Android™ app!

Are you saying that you don't have the icon for "Browser"? It likes like an icon of the earth and should be listed with all your other apps in the app drawer.

  3. There is an application called "Internet". That is the one click application to get in to your browser.

For other windows, once in the browser, press menu and you will see an option for windows.

A 'browser' app would solve my problem, and I don't see it anywhere.

Edit: Case closed - "Internet" is what I'm looking for. Thank you!

Sorry about the wrong icon. I forgot it was called Internet. I am running CM6.1 and it back to AOSP with browser. My fault.

  6. Yea, the browser is the Internet.
