EVO or not...

    Just curious about the anyone that used the premier customer upgrade(12 month), not on the upgradeable line.

    Right now, my wife and I have the Hero. Both rooted, running CM6. My line was eligible for an upgrade on 10/1. Not really interested in upgrading at this time but I was thinking of getting the EVO for my wife for Christmas. Now I know the Sprint store changed the primary premier line to my phone. It also took a couple of billing cycles to show that my line would have the luxury of upgrading after 12 months. I went to the Sprint store yesterday and they said I could call *2 and have the upgradeable line switched.

    Has anyone done this or did this? Any information would be much appreciated:)

    Hey andy, long time no see.

    Yea I had a similar issue when inquiring about my eligibility with Sprint a while ago, since me and my fiance are on a family plan together, when she joined my account somehow she was now listed as the primary line and my line was not. Like you, I called Sprint... had them change it back to make me primary. So when 10/01 came I was eligible to get the Evo and upgraded.

    I think what I'm also wondering is if I could switch it back to make my fiance's line primary to make her elibile in the 12 month period...? Hmm..

    Did they change the primary line right away? It took a couple billing cycles before, just curious:thinking:

    PS: Did you root yet?

    Had the issue as well. Called it in and they fixed it within 30 minutes.

    I had the same issue. At the SPrint store, the sales rep called in, and the result was that the Primary designation was moved to my line, but it will take 17 days. This is day 11.
