Has anyone heard any information anywhere about when we might possibly see and overclocking kernel. I am dying to see what this can do with a good rom and overclock. Are we still waiting for the source from HTC?

Last I read (yesterday) guys on xda are working on it and definetly making progress. I believe they were a slight issue dealing with the fact there are 2 different evos, a 002 and a 003 version. its in the development section of the evo forums on xda.

*1.267ghz, which is really pretty awesome. Don't think I really want to increase the voltage on my phone though but he claimed it could almost hit 1.2ghz without a voltage increase.

Not exactly sure why I would need a faster phone but I'm still digging it. :D

Nice, even a lil faster. Still no camera and sensors though. Can't wait to have this fully functional with 2.2 froyo:D

Going to give this a shot sometime. My only complaint about the phone is that it is actually VERY laggy which I obviously wasn't expecting.

I dunno man everything lags whether I have a lot of stuff running or not. Screen rotation, programs opening, etc. The worst thing is 'manage applications' usually takes about five minutes to get into it, freezes up and have to try a few times to get in.
