Help Evo Screen Adhesive, what type?

About a month ago, I fell into a lake while my Evo was in my pocket. it works fine, but there's still water trapped between two layers of the display. I figure I can fix it just be separating the the glass, digitizer and the display, but with the problems people are having with glass seperation issues, I'm more reluctant than I would otherwise be.

Can anyone tell me what kind of adhesive is used by HTC and at what layers? Are there three parts like with the iPhone (glass, digitizer, LCD) or are the digitizer and glass one piece?

My assumption is that it uses two sided tape like with the iPhone, but I wanted to make sure before I start taking things apart.

My screen has dust in it and i need to take it apart to clean. What do we use to glue the screen back?

No i wont try super glue.

Is this the glue part you guys talking about in step 11?

maybe just a clear silicone like liquid nail small project adhesive? it comes with fine tip.

What was the verdict on this? I am replacing the LCD in mine and curious to know if I need to reattach the digitizer to the LCD...
