Will other micro-usb cables insert without a hitch into the EVO? Or only HTC's?

FEDEX is bringing my EVO any minute!!!

I want to make sure I didn't waste money on three of these:

    USB 2.0 A Male to Micro 5pin Male 28/24AWG Cable w/ Ferrite Core - (Gold Plated) - 3ft

    That's from monoprice?

I ordered a 10' and 1.5' to charge it. When I get it, i'll post if it works.

The monorprice micro-usb cables work fine on the EVO. I have 3 of them from monoprice I've used on it.

I've been using the same monoprice cables your ordered. They work great. I've got the 6 footer for home since the HTC provided one is a tad too short. I've also got a few 1ft for my laptop while I'm at work and one for my car. Very pleased.

My Palm Pre, Nokia Symbian S60, and Google Nexus One all use Micro USB cables. I use one for all of them, including my new HTC EVO 4G. No problems.
