I would really love to have access to my work email without needing access to OWA (like Touchdown). I believe the iPhone has this capability, unless their method does in fact rely on OWA. Why can't it be done for Android?

My IT department simply refuses to give access to OWA without being in the VPN, so that ruins Touchdown for me.

Try using the server: red001.mail.microsoftonline.com and username: full email address and fill in everything else as told by your IT department. Hopefully that helps.

Id suggest an app called QOWA in the Android market, google play. It allows any outlook exchange access from 2003, 2007, and 2010.
