When I first got my droid, I had a pop account using outlook. Contacts didn't sync. I went ahead an purchased companionlink, which syncs my contacts and calendar.

I have now moved to an exhange email system. I thought I remember reading that with exchange, your contacts do sync, though not sure how this happens.

Does anyone have this answer, or do I continue to use companionlink with my outlook/exchange

typically you create a new corporate account and point it to your exchange server. The system will walk you through it. This will sync email, calendar, and contacts.

    Don't know about Companionlink.

I'd stick with ActiveSync. You may want to consider one of the 3rd party Exchange clients, depending on your needs/wants.
