First thread, I don't think it's been talked about before, but please forgive me if it has. I've been seeing a problem and was wondering if others have been experiencing this as well. On my Galaxy SII I have added my work email to sync email, contacts, calendar, etc. It's an Exchange 2010 (I believe) server so it obviously uses the Exchange Active Sync. About this time last week I started noticing that some of the calendar appointments were duplicated (there were 4 or 5 of the same appointments on the calendar). I eventually also noticed that the contacts were duplicated. As time goes, more and more duplicates show up. So initially it'll be 2, then 3, then 4, etc. I found on the internet that in Exchange there's a list of all the phones that connected to exchange accessible through the OWA client (via the web). So, went there and cleared out the duplicates. That didn't work, duplicates were still there. I then deleted and re-added my exchange account from the phone. That seemed to work, but eventually the duplicates came back up. I then did a full factory reset (by accident, did you know if you go into OWA and do a "wipe" it does a full phone wipe? Well, I didn't.). After setting things back up, no luck. The duplicates came back up. The only thing that seems to work at clearing up the duplicates is clearing the calendar and contact data. Go into Settings -> Applications -> All -> Contact Storage -> Clear Data (same for Calendar Storage). That will remove all contacts and calendar information and the phone will sync. Obviously that's just fixing the symptom not the issue. Has anyone encountered this? It's not duplicates between different contact sources, but the same source.
