Exchange sync works fine however the notification to the status bar/sound/vibration does not work. Notifications do work on pop3 accounts but not on the single Exchange account. If I enter Messaging I see a badge showing there is email waiting, just no notification on the status bar.

And I might add that it was working, sometimes, yesterday.

Forget about trying to get exchange to work. I spent 3 hours with tech support to no avail. Get touchdown or k-9 mail. Those are your only solutions to get mail to work on this $200 top of the line phone

Called Motorola and they had me delete that account and recreate a new Exchange account and the notifications are again working !

You're right. Notifications stopped or became very intermittent.

I installed Touchdown and it works better although not perfect. When I open Touchdown it sync's my inbox six times successfully then fails with a "Push Throttled". Eventually touchdown reconnects and it works but I don't know how long the next sync takes and for the Push Throttle to be cleared. The last mail push took 20 minutes to come to my X.
