Glad to see there are Indian Legend Users. It pushed me go ahead and register myself! :)

I have one question over GPS - which application do you guys use to access maps offline? I have been using Mapdryod - it's free - and covers Pune (my city) reasonably ok, but I was wondering if there's any better than this.

    Thanks,
    pH

Not sure about technicalities, but I do prefer GPS apps which allows map access while offline. Data plans are costly and it's not worth staying connected if you going on long drive and would be worse if you are around area without signals. I think MapmyIndia provides offline maps but they charge too much and further upgrades aren't cheap either.

Glad to find someone from Pune... :D

I had bought it the day it released in INDIA so had to pay a sort of a high price for it.Got it for 24k INR. Screen is fine ,processor is sluggish some times due to the heavy sense UI .This is not always the case though, it levels out after sometime. All the apps u mentioned can be installed.

So, Guys, How much did you pay for your Legend and where did you get it from?

    1) I have so far installed Speed for 3d, Paper Toss, My paper. Oh Yeah, WordUp is too quite an addictive game (not 3d though). D/l all these through slideme.
    2) I found compas app SpeedView pretty good. Again d/l through slideme app.
    3) Desire is available right now in Pune. I saw it in telephone shoppe in Aundh. Rs 4k Costlier than legend.
    4) Speaker sound quality is fine. Used in couple of conference calls, didn't face much problem.
    5) Supports upto 32GB probably
    6) I purchased this from Telephone shoppe, Aundh. Early buy, so got less discount. Got it from Rs 24k, but managed to bargain a free case for it. I can see Univercell.in is selling it for Rs 23k these days.

    Guys,
Which screen guard do you people use (or if at all it's needed!)? I can see ebay.in selling screen guard, but not sure how good it would be. Thanks.
