After wasting over an hour trying to update to 2.1, I've given up on trying to get the drivers to work, but now my phone is stuck in Download Mode.

Is there a way to get out of this, and turn my phone back on, so I can use it for now, before taking it to the Sprint store tomorrow to have them do the update?

are you sure your not in debugging mode settings>applications>development......if debugging is check then the standard drivers wont work, nor will the updater

Edit - Also, if you were paying attention to the updater prompts you have to boot into download mode to 'prime' (for lack of a better explanation) the updater, then it informs you to remove the battery and reboot in to download mode, if this is not done problems may arise.
