How do I switch back and forth between the two. So far think lp has less dial lag. But the lag that bothered me most is posting on Internet in landscape mode.

in your future experimenting, you can use Home Switcher to easily switch Home programs: Home Switcher v1.4 Application for Android | Tools
There also Default Browser which does the same thing for browsers.

I don't think it's Sense's clock/weather, I think it's a clone, perhaps Beautiful Widgets?

That was something I didn't like. I couldn't find a half decent clock. Also my bookmarks. Couldn't find a suitable for those. But phone seemed more responsive with launcherpro. Thanks for top on home switcher
What I would like to know is how do you get the HTC weather clock on the home screen on the Launcherpro, like they show in the image from the market app??
Here Richard found one that looks exactly like the HTC Sense Clock Weather Widget
Fancy Widget . It's free, but you have to download it using this QR code.

Fancy Widget has been discontinued, when you try to download it it won't download. Sucks because Beautiful Widgets and W&T both dont have accurate weather updates.

I use Flipclock. Great widget and doesnt use a lot of battery. Only problems i've found with it is that it takes a long time to load when a reboot is done, but so do most other widgets. It has a nice look and there are plenty to choose from. I am using simple dark right now, before that i was using nice pink. check them out.
I don't think it was available to Android 1.5, try clearing your default on Sense and run "Home", that's stock Android, see if you like it.
