Somehow, when I try to move an app to the SD card, it stalls on the exportation screen and doesn't seem to progress or ever finish exporting. Anyone got an idea?

Is it always the same app's?
Do any of them that fail once eventually end up transferring okay?
List the names of some of these apps, and may be one of the members of this forum could confirm their transferability.
I would also check the speed and capacity of your SD card, just in case.

I tried with the OkCupid app and Vivino. Both of them are stuck at the ''Exporting (...) and its data to SD card'' screen. While it says the app cannot be used while it is being exported, I can actually open them if I go into my apps...
The card is a Samsung Evo+

I don't care so much right now as there isn't many apps that it would be useful to move, but I want to resolve this problem in case it becomes helpful later on...

My phone reads the pictures on the SD card just fine, too.

I suspect that it is an issue with the apps themselves. Unless someone else can successfully move these apps, the odds are there's nothing wrong with your system. I would leave them in internal memory and try and confirm if anyone else has successfully moved them to SD ,on any phone.

Shimeon, I just tried this with OkCupid and it transferred over without issue. I would suggest uninstalling the app and clearing the data/cache and reinstall. It actually transferred over very quickly.

I am using a SanDisk 200gb microSD. I just moved it back to internal storage with no issue as well (took a little longer to move it back).

None of them work... tried with Adobe Acrobat and it also stall at the ''Export Adobe Acrobat'' screen...

    EDIT:

Omg...just saw the video up there...it worked.

Who in their right mind decided to put a blank black button on a black bar to confirm exportation ... o_O

Tried with AppMgr III and it lists all movable apps, brings up the move dialog along with a small popup asking you to hit Storage to move the app. When you select SD card, the 'export screen' has the Move button visible at the bottom on a light gray background. So one of the two VZW updates appears to have fixed the background. (Gotcha! make sure to ack the small popup otherwise it could hide the Move button).
