how do I retrieve my media(photos,videos,etc) from my galaxy s4 if my screen doesn't work?

Hi!
If your files are saved to your SD Card then you could pull the SD Card out and insert it into your computer and save them that way. You might also be able to plug your phone into your computer via USB and you might be able to get the files this way. Hope this helps!

Also, if you happened to have USB debugging enabled (most folks don't, however), you could use the adb utility to pull / retrieve files.
