This depends on your carrier, but the GSM standard for length of ring before forwarding to another number is

*61*[dest]*[sec]#

You dial this on the phones keypad when you have a signal. [dest] is your voicemail box number. [sec] is the delay in seconds before the call diverts (stops ringing) without the brackets. It can be 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds.
