Hello everyone....got a major problem.....received a "generic" android phone made in China for my birthday....cute phone and all but battery life stinks...no wonder it came with 2 batteries...does anyone know if there is an extended battery with a door I could purchase at a reasonable price or am I am stuck being chained to my charger for now? Any help and/or advice would be most appreciated....Happy New Year!!![/

You could search with the serial number to find one. There are not too many phones out that have an extended battery made for it. Phones such as the HTC EVO. Other than that, I would look to get a power managing app like advanced task killer.

Advanced Task Killer tends to waste more than it saves and it really trashes how Android runs. ;)

    You mean, Juice Defender? :p

Also, are you carrying around both batteries? If not, try that, and then just swap them when one dies. People do that with their laptops all the time.
