Seidio has 2 in the works, a 3500 and 1750 mah version. They did not give a date, just stated that they were in development. Hopefully they'll be available soon.

Verizon will have the official Motorola extended battery available in August. It will be 1mm thicker than the stock battery.

By the time I posted mine, yours was a already there - I didn't see it at first. In any case you didn't mention the 1750.

I'm waiting on this one myself. I'd love the 3500 mah, but I'm afraid it might be a bit too big and stick out a lot. No need for the X to have a big butt.

I'm waiting for the official extended battery as it "should" come with the official extended-battery battery door as well.

Yea I agree. I actually like how slim it is. Then again, the bigger battery could make it flush with where the camera is.

I think I'm going to get the 1750 one. I'm completely happy with the battery life and can make it through a full day just fine despite playing around a lot on the phone, but it's always nice to have a little extra battery life just in case you can get to a charger for some reason.

Just want you guys to be aware that Seidio's 1750mAh battery for the Droid Incredible was proven to be 1500mAh. The Droid X has a 1590mAh battery. There's a very real chance you will be downgrading if you get a Seidio "1750".

Why don't you guys get a portable battery charger? I got one which is 5000 MAh and gives me 3 charges on my Milestone. You can charge any device using a USB cable, very useful while travelling.
