Hello so this app is a life saver for my victory. It literally switches my 32 GB micro SD card to the internal memory and the actual 1.73gb becomes the external memory, it's genius and a big f u to Google and Samsung for taking away v apps to sd in stock form. Here is my question. Is there any extra wear and tear by having the actual internal memory used as external? I'm not really worried about my SD card because that can be replaced.

Sorry I didn't get your PM sooner Triumph.. I was away from the forums for a week and I missed a ton of stuff! The info of how to set up the External 2 Internal is on another thread as well, but it looks like you figured it all out. I still plan to update my space saving thread with step by step soon. Just got super busy at work and had a health issue crop up... much better now though!

I downloaded it but when I went to choose the configuration and clicked "Default SGS3 Roms" I got the error message "/dev/block/void/179:49 could not have been found! It has not been disable but you should avoid use configuration with this phone" what should I do now?

The instructions aren't quite right actually.. all you need to do for this phone is just check the box "use per default (check to use custom attributes)"...
Then click the option at the very bottom of the list "view the different devices"
Now scroll down more (as it has added more options below) click the second to last option "/dev/block/vold/179:33 (fs : vfat).

Once you have done this go back to the main screen and click the top button "external > internal" you may have to click it more than once for some reason. You can also check the box
at boot" to make it automatically apply at boot. But I think you have to click the above button again after checking the box. Again you may have to do it more than once to make it stick.
I've had it not stick the first time, so you may have to try more than once, and at boot it seems to apply late in the boot process, so just be patient.

---In case they ever alter the app defaults you might have to set the internal and external mounting points as well, but the defaults for the S3 are the same for this phone, and that is what it uses by default in the app. Internal = /mnt/sdcard and External = /mnt/extSdCard (with caps)---

I did have to click external>internal a few times with and without restart before they actually switched places.

This app really needs an award haha.. I have all the games I want on my phone. I can download 2gb games directly from the play store to the SD card.

FYI - I've made this native to Victorious ROM, no app necessary. ;)

I need help! I downloaded the external 2 internal app and my phone is rooted and it seems like everything is okay and functioning properly. But when I want to download an app from the play store and it says that I don't have enough space to download the app. Have I missed a step or something?? Help!

This only switches internal and external storage (SD). It does not effect the part where apps are stored. People only use it for large games that have huge data or obb files because that usually goes in internal storage. The apps themselves are not stored here so swapping storage does not put apps on external. For that you would need link2sd and to make a 2nd ext4 partition on your sdcard.
here is a guide by teachme that shows how to do it. If you scroll down to post 7, I made a guide for doing it without a PC (Twrp method)
