Okay all, this might be a noob question but if so forgive me because I ~AM~ a noob.

I know there are several ways to get more storage on your phone, but is there any way to actually get more RAM on your phone? I was hoping there would be some app that would allow me to create an external pagefile on my SD card, but so far I have not found anything.

Am I stupid for even trying to look for this, is it possible? Or am I just completely missing the point here.

As always, any and all help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You have the right idea, but wrong implementation of it.
You could run swap partiton the sd card with swap included.
swap is linux version of virtual memory, or pagefile.
However as I explained in another post on here somewhere android is better off without swap.
