Are there any applications that can scan your eye instead of a password? I heared about BioWallet, any other recommendations?
    I have HTC Desire.

This is where I really see a use for a front facing camera. That would be nice to have facial recognition to access you phone instead of a password or drawing lines on the screen.

would you really want something that is that slow and unreliable be the thing that unlocks your phone? I mean sometimes it can take 15 seconds just to scan a QR code. Eyes or face would be much less consistent than a QR

It seems that BioWallet is a ripoff, it doesn't do eye scanning eventhough it said that it does.

Also, insanely impressive to your friends. Would be buggy as hell and take way, way too long to be practical, but if/when it worked, it would be insanely cool.

Actually I could see this working very well and very quickly in less than 5 years. Think about what our phones were like in 2005, what we do on our phones now would have seemed like it was way to buggy and slow to be useful. 2005 the phone that was the **** was the Moto Razr right? What a difference 5 years makes in tech!

 You need to clean the lens on your phone! My phone can read QR codes the moment I point to them! I'm using Barcode Scanner - Android app on AppBrain
