Facebook app - Notification sound

Has anyone successfully changed the notification sound for their FB app? I have everything set correctly but my chosen sound (Samsung whistle) will not play. Note 20 Ultra/Verizon, if it makes any difference. Hoping someone can offer some suggestions.
 
Welcome to the Facebook app, where you cannot change any of the Facebook app sounds.
There are Facebook alternative apps that you can customize the sounds, such as Metal, Friendly, and others I can't remember...
