Why is it that with "Sync of WiFi" and refresh interval at never, does my Facebook app STILL update and refresh on it's own???!!!???

Anyone else notice this? I am only on WiFi at home, but this thing syncs while at work for 9 hours and not connected to WiFi.

I use the website. The app seems to be a bit goofy.

Ditto, the website works a whole lot better. The only plus to the app would be instant notification, but if you have your facebook attached to your gmail account, you'll still get that through email and wouldn't be running facebook all day.

The FB app slowed my phone WAY down. When I went into my contacts, or texts, or anything where my contacts info was at, it slow everything up. Took forever for my texts to open up, and my contacts list. I deleted it and all was better

It depends which Facebook you're talking about. Those settings you're speaking of are the Moto Facebook that's built in to the phone. If you have the Facebook app from the Market that's totally different and has nothing to do with those settings.
