Facebook birthdays.........

Ive linked my contacts with their facebook profile.....is there any way to sync the facebook birthdays to my calender on my HERO?

1.Sign into your FB account on your phone so your logged in (in the phone settings)
2.open the PEOPLE app then when you edit your contacts you can scroll down and select the link ppl to facebook option

or

in the PEOPLE app open a contact then side along to the updates and events bit tap on link or find the person if it hasnt already.

I too was hoping for something similar but with the contact information. The Hero has a spot for birthdays in the contact information and I thought that would carry over to the calendar. No such luck.

I own an HTC EVO 4G since they first came out. I also synch its calendars and contacts with my IPAD which uses google contacts and calendar. If you use the birthday field on the Evo contact entry, the day stays with the contact, but does not synch with the Evo's google calendar. I have stopped using the EVO birthday field in Evo contact, and put all birthdays,anniversaries into google calendar with annual repeat selected, and a one week default alarm so that I can still send out a card in the mail with the alarm set. if you chose to also click birthdays in an IPAD contact, the red colored giftbox icon for a birthday as well as your added google calendar entry now shows 2 birthday events on your IPAD calendar only, as the IPAD birthday also does not appear as an entry on your EVO.
