Help Facebook Contact Photos missing... HELP

Since the update to ICS I have lost contact photos with my GO SMS Pro. They always worked before. I've tried Handcent - no photos. I've tried the stock app and I get photos, but I get none of the individual customization, such as setting a different text notification sound for each contact.

Anyone else?

Mine says "HTC sense authorization failed". The basic android Facebook widget no longer works. Not sure if it's the update or a sync settings issue.

It is a known issue with ICS and Facebook...you will not get contact photos. Something to do with an API change.

Try getting an app called HaxSync. Works well for me.

Ok...

Since the ICS upgrade, most 3rd party app's (Handcent and GOSMS to name a few) using Facebook contact photos have been blocked... There are other threads out there that offer some solutions... I'm waiting for Handcent to come up with their own solution as it appears the issue can be worked around...

As for "HTC sense authorization failed", this is a known bug that was introduced in the last facebook update.... I have uninstalled all my facebook updates and it has solved the problem... The last know working facebook version was 1.8.4 which with a little searching, you'll be able to find this apk....

I just paid 99 cents for the HaxSync and they charged my account, it says it downloaded but the only option I have to use it now is uninstall... ? It never shows up in my apps. I wound up downloading SyncMyPix for free and it's working. I know have my facebook contact photos showing in GO SMS Pro!

Apparently Facebook comes pre-installed, I found the apk but just uninstalling updates worked. Thanks.

I just paid 99 cents for the HaxSync and they charged my account, it says it downloaded but the only option I have to use it now is uninstall... ? It never shows up in my apps. I wound up downloading SyncMyPix for free and it's working. I know have my facebook contact photos showing in GO SMS Pro!

You need to read the instructions for HaxSync. You have to go to your Settings and add HaxSync as a sync account. Then you can edit the settings through there.

I have the same problem. Did a factory reset and now none of them show up at all.. Could it possibly be an app I disabled? Would friend stream or something cause this?

You need to read the instructions for HaxSync. You have to go to your Settings and add HaxSync as a sync account. Then you can edit the settings through there.

HaxSync never gets that far on my phone. I paid for it and dowloaded it to my phone. You know how when you download a program it gives you the chance to Open it right from the market? Yeah that never happens with HaxSync for me. The option that comes up is "Uninstall." I go into Apps and it's nowhere to be found. Not a trace.

I hit uninstall and requested a refund. The free one I downloaded works perfectly.

Because you don't open the app. You go to your phone account & sync settings and add HaxSync through that. Again, read instructions from the app.
