Help Facebook photos issue on Villain 5.4

I've installed the Villain 5.4 ROM, and everyting is running well, apart from the fact that in the People app (i.e. my phone book), it's not automatically synced the facebook photos and details for my contacts. If I try to do this manually for each contact, it tells me that there's no match under their name.

Anyone got any ideas. Not a major issue, but a bit annoying nonetheless.

I think there is a patch for this problem, but then I don't use FB so can't comment on specifics.

ive got the same problems. installed the facebook patch but still not working.
for some reason under "accounts and sync" i have a choice of either adding a "facebook" account, or a "facebook for HTC Sense" account. have added my details for the "Facebook for HTC Sense" but it wont go to the login screen if i choose the "facebook" option instead. any clues?
