    Hi,

Having previously owned Nokia phones, I am well chuffed with my HTC Sensation. Everything seems to be working ok for me at the moment, except for a small problem when using Facebook.

When someone gives me a 'Like' or sends me a message on Facebook, I am then sent a text message informing me of the action. For example:

soandso has commented on your photo. http://fb.me/aXL50gCM172pQb and then their comment.

The problem is that The html link is not active. I cannot simply click on the link included in the text to go to the relevant page. I have to go inot my FB page then into the relevant page to view their comments etc.

If I put my SIM into my old Nokia N97, I don't have this problem. The links are the clickable!!!

I asked HTC Support through their website, guess what??? Yeah, No Reply!

    Regards, NetGhost

Try installing a third party messaging app such as GoSMS, Handcent or ChompSMS.

My personal favourite is GoSMS and links are definitely clickable in this app :)

    Not unless you're rooted.

However, you can install a third party launcher such as Go Launcher EX (another great app by them :p) that will allow you to hide the icon for the stock messaging app.

You can also disable the stock messaging app's notifications so you don't get two for each message you receive!

Actually got a reply from HTC! They asked me a whole bunch of questions and to try txting myself a few times. The problem is definitely with the stock messaging app and Facebook. If I put a link in a sms using www or http:WWW then the link works. It's only the Facebook format that doesn't work.
They told me to do a factory reset and if that didn't work, they would escalate the problem and have an engineer provide a fix in their next update.
