So let we talk about what is needed to stop this from happening. The best way I can think of, at 12:00 am, is to force those websites to use https for all your connections. Will check to make sure it works with android. https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere When you are on an unprotected network, when using a trusted network, you can probably disable the add on, but it is best to be safe then sorry.
