I have been looking around but unable to find a solid answer to this question and I wanted to know if I have a custom rom/kernel/radio installed on my TB and I want to do a factory reset/format sd card, will that destroy the installed rom/kernel/radio?

No,it will not. As long as you don't flash a new rom /kernel, your current combo should be fine. May want to back it up,just in case ;)

If you backup the rom then wipe your SD card it will wipe the backup as well. So first do a backup then put it on dropbox or your computer before formatting the SD card.

Good point  move the entire clockwork mod folder somewhere safe before formatting the card,as well as any pics, ringtones, etc.
