I know how to do a reset, but I recently broke my screen, and want to clear everything before I send it back in, just to clear my personal data.

It was running CM7, So my question is, is there ANY (reasonable) way for me to factory reset my phone to clear personal date with a screen that's FUBAR?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure I was running clockwork recovery too.

Who are you sending it to? Is it a warranty replacement or an insurance claim? If its insurance, no need to do a wipe, they dont care if you are rooted or not.

If it's sprint, I would be on the safe side and reflash back to stock just to be sure they dont void your warranty.

It's an insurance claim.
I was more 'worried' about the personal info, not being rooted.

Can you read the screen at all? Doing a wipe and flashing a rom should take care of it. then just keep your SD card. That's what I did when I had mine replaced. Of course I could read/use my screen. You can also do multiple wipes and flashes just be sure things get overwritten.

I left mine rooted and then just flashed a nandroid when I got it back ;)

I planned on keeping the SD card as it is.
So I suppose the only things really left on it would be my google account that's synced and then the texts that are on there.. Which not ALL are 'work safe'

No I cant read the screen at all. ALL white, with cracks at the bottom, that are bleeding.
