could someone briefly explain how to completely wipe all data from my phone and start over? i've tried the option to factory reset the phone in the settings menu but the phone is still retaining some settings previously used.

    thanks for your help!

Like what setting are staying? I know google sync or backup will keep some settings like contacts, wifi settings, and then SD card will also keep some settings also. Need to know what setting are being retained
