If I factory reset my Android (Xperia Play), are the applications I`ve purchased saved in my account so I can re-install them again without having to re-purchase?

Yes,you can re-load in the future,without being charged ever again.

Same goes for apps purchased from the AMAZON ANDROID APPSTORE,purchased apps can be re-loaded at anytime in the future,at no extra charge.
