Factory Resets for Cricket Androids

If you know the factory reset for any other cricket androids that I may have missed, please add them!!



Please Notethat if you reset your device to the factory defaults all of your data including contacts, messages, etc. will be lost! Remove your memory card to preserve anything saved on it, and remember to remove the SIM card if your phone has one!





Samsung Galaxy S III (SCH-R530C)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Up + Home + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

Samsung Vitality (R720)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Back + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the home or power button

Samsung Transfix (R730)
  • Power off the phone
  • (with keyboard open) Press Volume Down + the letter R + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the home button

Samsung Indulge (R910)
  • Power off the phone
  • (with keyboard open) Press the letter R + Power simultaneously
  • Release both buttons when the Samsung screen appears
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

LG Optimus (LW690)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Home + Volume Down + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the menu button

Kyocera Zio (M6000) (option 1)
  • If the phone is locked from too many pattern attempts or forgotten Gmail account, go into the Emergency Dialer
  • Dial ##4357*
  • Scroll down and select Reset
  • Enter 000000

Kyocera Zio (M6000) (option 2)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Camera + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

Kyocera Hydro (C5170)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Home + Power
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

ZTE Score (X500)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Camera + Power simultaneously
  • Press Menu to show Android Recovery System
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the camera button

ZTE Engage (V8000)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Up + Power simultaneously
  • Release when the triangle/exclamation point screen appears
  • Press Volume Up + Volume Down simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

ZTE Groove (X501)
  • Power off the device
  • Press Volume Up + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

Huawei Ascend I (M860)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Up + Call + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the track ball

Huawei Ascend II (M865)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Up + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button
HTC Desire C (H1000C)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Power
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button
  • When asked to confirm, press volume up

HTC One V (H2000C)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Power
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

HTC One SV (H3000C)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Down + Power
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the power button

Alcatel Authority (ADR3010C)
  • Power off the phone
  • Press Volume Up + Power simultaneously
  • Use volume down to select wipe data/factory reset
  • Select with the search button
 
I always take the sd card out of the phone just as a precaution, I know it's more than likely unnecessary. However, with the SIM cards, I'm completely unsure of the effect on leaving it in the phone during the reset. I've read some places that it should be removed but most places don't mention anything about it! I've never reset one myself, so I guess I'll find out when the situation happens! :p
