Help failed to download??

I have had a samsung galaxy s5 since may. However, this problem only started a few days ago.

If I try to open/download a file such as a document or pdf my phone gives me a flash of the words "failed to download" across the bottom of the screen. This is making my job and school difficult.

I deleted all of the previously downloaded documents and ran a booster program on my phone but it didn't help. Obviously, I don't know what is causing this and would appreciate some help.

Have you tried re-booting the phone? Not a restart, but actually turn it off them back on. A process may be active that is giving you this problem.
