yup fastboot works. flashing recovery still doesnt work. Proetected partitions

I think im gonna end up returning mine, my memory card keeps disconnecting. phones been replaced and so has the memory card.

Its a software glitch. It happeneds with the usb connection to.the sdcard unmounting was a know issue of 1.5(cupcake) , which the phone is running . Most issues were fixed in 1.6 .. I haven't seen any adverse effects from these sd disconnects yet , and it only happened the first two days haven't seen it since. But its up to you , I personally love this phone and can't wait for android 2.0......

well that makes sense.. the folks at samsung 3rd level didnt have a clue neither did the folks at t-mobile.

ive only had that issue when using a none samsung cable

Who said it had anything to do with being connected to a computer. The usb connection has dismounts ,same as the sdcard

Nope that's not it , when it first happened to me , I thought it was the phone till I saw that other people are experiencing this to ..

Who said it had anything to do with being connected to a computer. The usb connection has dismounts ,same as the sdcard

Normally it allows you to flash a partitions or boot a ramdisk.

We could probably boot a ramdisk on the behold, but we can't flash the partitions
