    Hello! Good day to everyone.

What is the fastest and/or lightest media player app for android? Fastest and lightest meaning fastest to load up, play music and go back to music list or menu, and browse playlists and options. I am not however concerned about capabilities and options of the media player.

I am currently using WinAmp but I think there's a faster app.

Thank you for reading this post. :)

I use PowerAmp Pro and its really fast. They have a free version you can try first, to see if you like it.

I can only recommend UberMusic, it is still a beta release but working very stable and fast for me and i love it. Also battery and memory usage is very low.

Fastest and lightest is default android media player that comes with your phone. :)

Use a media converter for additional media format support.
    PowerAmp is not fast.

Yeah, if you don't care about features, why waste space with another media app?

I use the default one as well, and it works fine for me.
