What is the fastest and easiest way to install an apk (this one specifically) on the Atrix?

I am looking to do this without downloading the SDK, but if that's the only option, I'm down for that.

Also, I'm running snow leopard if that makes any difference.

    Thanks!

Unless you root it, you won't be able to load any app that is not in the market.

Done. Not really, but I'm on it right now.

Plus, rooting allows HDMI mirroring, correct?

And, once rooted, what's the easiest way to go about this? Also, is this called sideloading?

    Thanks!

As far as HDMI mirroring, I am not sure if it is enabled or not.

Once you are rooted, download Astro File Manager from the market. Copy the APK to your device and open it withing Astro. Then select "Open App Manager", then click install.

BTW, when you root, make sure you also enable sideloading.

Not true. You can sideload without rooting with the Sideload Wonder Machine.
