We have a RCA tablet model RCT6303W87DK running Android 5.0. I am able to log into the owner account just fine but my daughter has forgot her swipe code to login to her account on the pad. She took a bunch of photos and has other data that we would like to get to but cannot get into her account to get them. Is there a way to bypass the swipe code lock on her account to gain access without losing all her data or the data on the owners account? Does the owner have a way to change her password?

Without that pin code I think your stuck. A hard reset may help, but you'll likely lose everything also.

You could try Android Device Manager. Login on a web browser and reset the password.

I think you should buy a kid tablet for your daughter. Then it would not happen.

The OP's daughter may be to old for a "kid" tablet...

It also doesn't solve the OPs immediate issue of not being able to access the current tablet so I'm not entirely sure what this achieves.

azcolot, Android Device Manager definitely sounds like your best bet at this point: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6160500

OK, just a suggestion. Cause I know some kid tablets very nice and lots of different functions.

I wasn't trying to be cute.....
1-The OP didn't mention how old his daughter is.
2-As stated already, the OP wasn't asking for suggestions on a new tablet.

The father didn't say how old the kid is.

This kid is 53 and my sister is 49, our father is 79. We're a bit old for child tablets I think.[emoji14]

Unfortunately with an RCA, unless you set it up with Android device manager and Google, there's no way in otherwise.

What the dead Android? On this forum we do get a lot of questions often about really cheapo devices, that usually bought online and imported from China. With me being in China, I do see a heck of a lot of Android devices, and some of them can be downright awful. There's the good as well of course.
