    Back on topic:

    1) Android Assistant - 14 different tools and does not require root.
Android Assistant(14 features) - Android app on AppBrain

    2) Root Explorer - Like a file manager but with way more power/user control. Requires root.
Root Explorer (File Manager) for Android | AppBrain.com

    3) Screenshot - For having the ctrl + Prt sc of the Android world! Requires root.
Note: Most people like the Screenshot It app instead of this one. I didn't, It just didn't give me the ease and feel I liked.
    http://www.appbrain.com/app/screenshot/com.geeksoft.screenshot

    4) MixZing - I choose this because it's got an EQ and it's a free music app. I also like the different size widgets it provides. A little bit of a battery killer but for me it's worth it. Does not require root.
MixZing Media Player - Android app on AppBrain

    5) Weather & Toggle Widgets - I like this because of it's animated weather and skin choices on the market (Clock, Weather, Widget skins). Also, If you had problems with the user market on the paid for apps like Beautiful Widget, This app has it's skin market in the ACTUAL market instead. Which is why I switched. Does not require root.
I also recommend getting the Weather Widget Forecast Addon. (Free in market) ^_^
Weather & Toggle Widget - Android app on AppBrain

    6) CacheMate - This app is great for a one click cache clearing. It requires root.
CacheMate for Root Users Free - Android app on AppBrain

    7) Skyfire browser - I like this for it's flash conversion via browser. Does not require root.
Skyfire - Mobile Browser for Android, iPhone, and iPad

    8) SD Speed Increase - This is a very useful tool to help get the most out of your SD cards speed of read/write. Requires root.
SD Speed Increase - Android app on AppBrain

    9) Ultra Keyboard - I like this because it's got basic typing as well as "Tracing" which is almost identifiable with Swype. You can choose a different skin, Customize the ones they've got or even make your own. It's fully packed with different options! Does not require root.
Ultra Keyboard - Android app on AppBrain

    10) The Phandroid App! - Need I say more? :p Does not require root (Of course).
Phandroid - Android app on AppBrain

    For just my own entertainment:

    11) Daily Horoscopes - For some freaky reason. This has been accurate for the past 2 weeks. It's scary but, Super cool. Does not require root.
    AppBrain Android market | DailyHoroscope

    12) Andchat - This is for IRC (Internet Relay Chat). This is a good program as far as it's customization and ease of use. You can also run multi-servers. ^.^ Does not require root.
AndChat (Free) - Android app on AppBrain

    13) Bottle Message - I have a ton of fun with this because you get to send anonymous "Texts" to people all around the world who have this app. I've got ones from people that live in every corner of the world. Does not require root.
    Come find me (Rain)!
BottleMessage - Android app on AppBrain

    14) Backgrounds 10,000 wallpapers - I've found some super awesome backgrounds on this. You've got a large selection and it's a sure bet you'll find something you like. More added daily. Does not require root.
Backgrounds 10,000 Wallpapers - Android app on AppBrain

    and last but not least....

    15) LOL Droid - I just positively love the photos they put on here. They give me a daily giggle or a nice thing to look at in those huge lines at Wal-Mart! They've got different catagories for the pictures! Yep, Since I mentioned it there is DEFINITELY a People Of Wal-Mart catagory. ~.o Does not require root.

Based on your recommendation, I checked out MixZing (I've been using PowerAmp) and I really like it. The *ONE* feature that means the most to me, being about to play my music by folder, is a lot easier in MixZing. The EQ doesn't have as many presets as PowerAmp but that may be b/c it's the free version.

I tried SD Speed Increase and I got an error message that it couldn't write the file. I don't know what that means.

Did you have any problems with SD Speed Increase? When I tried to use it, it wasn't able to save the file.

I agree about SD Speed Increase & Go Launcher. I just started using Link2SD and that has made the biggest difference. The phone runs 2 - 3 times faster now that I've cleared out so much of the memory. It's amazing.

PdaNet is prob my most used app. I don't have acess to any other internet and it's steady and reliable. It has a SMS agent that acts like an IM thingy and while connected it charges the phone. Win-win!
