    Name your favorites! :)
We just discovered David Chang's show, The Mind of a Chef. It's on PBS (and streaming on Netflix ;)).
    Love it.
We don't have cable, so we're pretty limited on what we watch.
If I can catch Top Chef, I absolutely do. No Reservations is good too.
I grew up watching a ton of Food Network, but I can barely stand it now. Just too saccharine for my taste.
    So what are your favorites?

Would you class Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares as a food show?

We've a chef over here called Heston Blumenthal who's done a few interesting programmes and does some pretty insane things with food. :)

I liked the Iron Chef when it first aired on the Food Network. And I'm talking about the original Japanese version, NOT the Americanized version.

Yeah, the original was great. Haven't really watched the US version, it's pretty sad.

You'll be doing yourself a favor by skipping the US version altogether.

    Restaurant: Impossible,
    Mystery Diners,
    Man vs Food,
    Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,
and not really a food show, but I like Bar Rescue as well.

I forgot about Man vs Food. That's another great food show. I get hungry every time I watch it. :)

I don't watch much TV beyond sporting events. However, I have seen a few of the BBQ Pitmasters shows and enjoyed

I like Chopped, but also have you seen 2 Fat Ladies? Awesome food as long as you have no worries about your arteries!

    Anything with Gordon Ramsay:

    Kitchen Nightmares (US version)
    Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (UK version)
    Hell's Kitchen
    Gordon Ramsay's Great Escape
    Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Cookery Course

    among them.

I really liked Heat Seekers and Chefs vs City, both with Aaron Sanchez... ...

I used to watch Chopped religiously, but got sick of seeing live animals dismembered and/or cooked...alive.

My very favorite cooking shows were on Food Network back in its earlier days: Too Hot Tamales and Tamales World Tour, with Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken.

I liked Restaurant Stakeout and its 30-minute twin, Mystery Diners, until I realized they were absolute bullshit. They're as fake as fake can be.

I haven't watched any but did recently. I watched Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin, and man did he make me hungry. It was around 2:30am.

I love almost anything on the food network and the cooking Chanel. However I have a weakness for any show with Giada De Laurentiis. I would also like to add the Google voice knew how to spell her name I wonder if siri would, lol.
