Root Favorite sense Rom?

Hi all, I've been using kings unleashed r5. I have been really happy with this Rom, but I am ready to try another sense Rom. What would you suggest for a sense Rom? I like soles and good battery life. I really prefer staying with a sense Rom for now. Thanks for the suggestions.

try mikfroyo 4.61 or 4.62. koni's elite is another good rom to try out. both are just a fast and smooth like kings roms.

Hey there are some sweet shift ports out now that are sense 2.1 and running great that I would be comfortable suggesting to you. First lets see if you have an epson screen or not

In terminal

dmesg | grep -i epson

And dmesg | grep -i novatec

Only one will return a result..

Does it return anything or just #?

Well if you have a novatec screen all the ginger sense rims would break your brightness thereby reducing your battery life so I wouldn't suggest it then

Yeah well it was 98 here today but the diff here is we gots an ocean and lots of humidity so probably felt the same...

Those are command from the terminal emulator app. Not sure if that's where the confusion was...

I personally really like myn's warm 2.2 roms. It was the first one I flashed, and I keep going back to it from time to time.

No I must of missed the lesson on terminal commands.... lol. I found myns warm to be pretty slow and sluggish on my evo. Kings r5 just runs so fast with no lag at all. Where's my sauce??? Lol

You punch that command line I gave you into the terminal emulator an if it returns something other than # that's what screen you have, of course now if it gives an error then you just typed it wrong

So I take it everything Is working on Koni's elite rom?? Wifi, 4g, navigation etc. Is it OK to delete a couple of my backups? They were made over one weekend. I think I only have a little over 2gigs. On my sd card. Thanks.

Koni's elite has everything working.and I would keep your nandroids on your computer and just delete the ones you don't need. I usually keep only two nandroids on my card. I also would have at least one with your wimax keys backed up on your computer.

Lol, thanks. Dumb question here, when I put my sd in my reader.... where do I find the nandroid backups???? Lol. A bunch of Android things pop up, and I opened them, but I don't know where to begin to find my 4 backup files. I didn't name them, just the date I made them on. Maybe I should name them next time... duh. Thanks again

If I remember correctly you are using amon ra. If so then they are found in a folder called nandroid.if you are going to name them just make sure to not use any weird characters and no spaces.

No, I flashed the alternate recovery from clockwork... 2.6, I think. I guess I could just plug my evo into my pc and make a copy of my sd card right? Usb debugging off or on for this? Anything other settings I need to have on to copy my sd card? I've been wanting to switch recoveries, just keep forgetting.

That its the easiest way is to just copy the entire card. And leave usb debugging on. should not have token that off.i always leave that on. You should switch recoveries, but clockwork mod 2.6 is decent enough. Just let us know of you want to switch and need help.

Thanks, I flashed koni's elite all went well. I noticed something odd. At first my market app. Was the black and white, now its blue and white...fine one min. Then when I opened market again, it was blue and white...any ideas?? I tried clearing cache, no change.
