Help Favorites in Google Maps?

Has anyone found a simple way to add favorites while you are in the Google Maps app on the Droid? I know you can add them online on My Maps, but is there a way to use the Maps App, search for a location and then save it to favorites somehow?

No...another thing you can do is add a shortcut to your homescreen for your favorites...i kow it is not what you want but it is still a nice feature
