While I was making the long wait for the Incredible I broke down and bought an Archos 5 IT with android. When using tue browser, if you came to a user id and password field, you could type the user id then the keyboard had these arrow keys that worked kind of like a tab key, and would put you right in the password field without the keyboard leaving the screen. Made signing in a breeze.
Thats something i miss on the Incredible. :(
Other then that and the crappy battery(Seidio on the way), i love the phone. Meets all my needs.

Ya not smart on your part with a picture like that and then a question... most people won't be too productive at answering you question(s) ha ha.

Anyway, I used to have the [Moto] Droid and now I have Incredible ... usually in scenarios like this you can use the optical trackpad to scroll down, even if the KB is still on the screen.

The version of Swype that I am using has a next button on the keyboard that does this.

Sorry for the distraction! I will try the trackpad next time, never thought of that!

Edit: using the trackpad makes the keyboard go down, then you have to bring it back up.

If the keyboard disappears and you want it back, just push on the titty. Um I mean trackball.

Forgive me if I misunderstood the question... but you want to skip to the next field without closing the keyboard, as in user name to password field?

There is a return key on the bottom right side of the keyboard, both in landscape and portrait mode. As far as I am aware, this has done that every time.

Edit: Tried it on web pages, and unfortunately it does not work. However it seemed to work on forms, email, and such.
