File not found in viber messenger

Hello, I try to open fotos from the viber messenger, but I get the following message "file not found". I can see the images in the chat history but I can't open them. I know that the sender has delete them. Is there a way to recover the fotos and the videos?

Why not just ask to get them resent?

Sender has deleted them, actually his mobile has been formatted so there are not available at sender side
