I don't know anything about this type stuff but 6 days ago I purchased a Samsung Galaxy J2. 2 days later it said that I had used 9 GB of internal storage. I had only downloaded 1app from Google play store and taken 3 pictures and that's all. I look through my apps and the list was very long and had several names I had never seen before. So after some research I downloaded a app from the play store called Elixir 2. Under the FILES info there was an overwhelming amount of information. Can someone please help explain what this is and why its here. By the way I don't root, turn on developers options and don't even own a computer or anything else. I'm only adding a few screenshots

Well the toybox is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
Most likely when you first connect you device, lots of apps are updated by Google PS , Samsung and your carrier provider. Google PS has a setting to turn off automatic updates.
It may also have been, in part, due to an OTA firmware update.

Thanks so much. I appreciate it. I just can't believe that now not even a week later that I have used 11GB of storage. That's something that I would have never thought possible.
